REGINA – Regina police say six teens are facing a total of 62 charges following a string of thefts from unlocked or unsecured property around the city.
Police say two 16-year-old boys and four 15-year-old boys were arrested on April 6 after leaving a truck that had a number of bicycles in the rear.
When the teens left the truck and rode the bikes toward 2nd Avenue North, police confirmed the truck was stolen. They found the six suspects and after arresting them, seized a stolen iPad, laptop and speakers.

According to police, the items came from various vehicles. Police say the truck the suspects were driving was stolen in Moose Jaw on April 2. On April 5, Regina police spotted, but were unable to stop, the same truck.
In addition to the vehicle theft, police believe the suspects were involved in a break and enter and other vehicle and gasoline thefts.
The teens face a number of charges, including break and enter, theft and possession of stolen property.
All six teens appeared in Youth Court on Thursday. They cannot be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
