A Hamilton man is facing charges after Niagara police nabbed a speeder going 212 km/h on the QEW.
Police say a vehicle was observed driving aggressively and not signalling lane changes during heavy rush-hour traffic on the highway in Lincoln Wednesday night.
When police tried to stop the vehicle they say it accelerated to more than double the posted 100 km/h limit.
Officers eventually brought it to a halt in St. Catharines.
A 28-year-old Hamilton man is charged with speeding and stunt driving. His licence has been suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded.
His name has not been released.
