Australia’s Nine Network showed video of the Australian actor bringing another swimmer to shore before he had to help his kids, Oscar, 15, and Ava, 10, escape from the strong current.

Personal trainer and rugby player Daniel Conn was on the beach chatting with Jackman when the tide changed.

“Oscar got caught up with it so I swam out to go and get him and bring him back but he got caught up in it again and he [Hugh] just went into full-on Hugh Jackman mode,” said Conn to the Daily Mail Australia. “He got Oscar and he also helped some other people too, it was amazing.”
