TD Canada Trust, Sask. Rush team up to help the children’s hospital

SASKATOON – The Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan got a big boost Monday from the province’s newest sports team. In partnership with TD Canada Trust, the Saskatchewan Rush are hosting a jersey auction, featuring special jerseys with the children’s hospital logo.

The limited edition jerseys will be worn during a game against the Toronto Rock this Saturday at SaskTel Centre. The jersey’s feature the CHF logo on the front and the back name bar will show that each player is playing for the children’s hospital foundation.

The auction begins today on the Saskatchewan Rush Facebook page and concludes this Sunday at 6 p.m. CT.

“One of the best ways that we can support our communities is by investing in children’s health,” said Ryan Barclay, district vice-president at TD Canada Trust.

“TD believes that every child deserves the opportunity to live life to its fullest.”

Brynn Boback-Lane, president and CEO of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan, said the money will help purchase pediatric and maternal equipment.
