Manitoba Moose sign trio of forwards

The Manitoba Moose have signed forwards Brant Harris, Darik Angeli and Dan DeSalvo to professional tryout contracts.

WINNIPEG – The Manitoba Moose have brought in some help with injuries and call-ups starting to pile.

The team signed forwards Brant Harris, Darik Angeli and Dan DeSalvo to professional tryout contracts on Tuesday. All three were playing in the ECHL before joining the Moose.

Harris has racked up 17 goals and 15 assists in 47 games with the Florida Everblades this year. The 26-year-old Estevan, Saskatchewan product attended Moose training camp prior to the season. Harris has eight points in 23 career AHL games split between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Adirondack Flames.

Angeli comes into the club with one game of AHL experience to his name. The 25-year-old American scored six goals and nine assists in 48 games with the Manchester Monarchs this season.

DeSalvo on the other hand has 16 goals and 35 assists in 55 games with the Tulsa Oilers in 2015-2016.

Moose forwards Scott Kosmachuk, JC Lipon and Matt Halischuk have been called up by the Winnipeg Jets. Thomas Raffl, Josh Morrissey and John Albert meanwhile are all currently battling injuries.
