REGINA – Two Regina residents are facing numerous charges after stolen items were recovered early Monday morning in the southwest corner of the city.
At 3:44 a.m. on Feb. 15, Regina Police responded to a resident’s report of two individuals dressed in dark clothing entering a neighbour’s vehicle in the 3700 block of Argyle Road.
Regina Police, along with a canine unit, arrested one man and one woman in the 3800 block of Retallack Street.
Police later recovered numerous stolen items from different vehicles in the area and the man was found to be in possession of a firearm.

Brandon Pelletier, 19, is facing 14 charges, including four charges of theft under $5,000, four charges of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, two charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two charges of carry concealed weapon, possession of a firearm and breach of probation.
Ashley McKay, 27, has been charged with 10 offences, including four charges of theft under $5,000, four charges of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, one charge of carry concealed weapon and breach of recognizance.

Pelletier is being held until his appearance in Provincial Court, schedule for Feb. 16 at 9:30 a.m. McKay will appear in Provincial Court on March 29 at 9:30 a.m.
