WINNIPEG – The Manitoba Moose have cut ties with Winnipegger Kelly Zajac.

The team released the 27-year-old forward from his AHL contract on Friday. Zajac had one assist in 14 games as a Moose this season. He scored two goals and two assists in 11 games with the Finnish Elite League’s SM-Liiga before returning home.

Zajac is the younger brother of New Jersey Devils forward Travis Zajac.
