A number of fake credit cards, a scamming machine, 106 fentanyl pills, cocaine, two handguns and ammunition were seized when a search warrant was executed in Fort McMurray Friday.
Because of an ongoing investigation, two homes were searched: one on Stroud Bay and another on Lafont Way.
The following items were seized during the search:
- 106 fentanyl pills;
- 2.9 grams of cocaine;
- Two handguns;
- Ammunition in excess of 5,000 rounds;
- A credit card scamming machine;
- An undisclosed quantity of fake credit cards.

Three people from Fort McMurray are facing charges.
Rochell Donnica Wilson, 26, is charged with 12 firearm-related offences, including unsafe storage, possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Gadid Oman Ahmed, 29, is charged with six counts of failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking as well as two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both have been released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in court in Fort McMurray on Feb. 9.
Charges are pending against a third individual, a 37-year-old Fort McMurray man.
“This investigation is another fantastic example of the coordinated effort of the different units at Wood Buffalo RCMP detachment and our partners such as ALERT and ERT,” Wood Buffalo RCMP Supt. Robert McCloy said.
The investigation is continuing.
