Witnesses from Safety For Citizens said Foxx told California Highway Patrol officers he heard the accident outside his home, followed by screaming. He then ran to the scene and noticed the driver still buckled into his seat.
Foxx told officers he managed to reach the car, unbuckle the man and then drag him away from the burning wreck.
The driver was transported from the scene to a local hospital with what police declared as “major injuries.”
