MONTREAL – Sûreté du Québec (SQ) officers discovered the body of Diane Ferron in a ditch Saturday, she had been missing since Wednesday.
Officers combing the area found her body in a ditch on Saint-André Street, less than a kilometre from her home on Champêtre Street in Saint-Hyacinthe.

The 65-year-old was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
According to SQ spokesperson Claude Denis, there were no signs of violence on the body.
The investigation is ongoing.
