REGINA – The Regina Pats will be without Captain Colby Williams as he is scheduled to undergo surgery to help in the healing of his arm injury that happened over the summer.

The 20 year-old defenceman will be out indefinitely however he is expected to return to the Pats lineup later in the season.

The Pats are 7-6-3 this season in games that Williams suited up for the club.

The Pats captain made his 2015-16 regular season debut November 13 after missing the club’s first 16 games. Williams has 11 points (5G, 6A) and is a +3 plus/minus rating in 16 games this season.

Regina Pats Adam Brooks named WHL Player of the Week

The Western Hockey League announced Monday that Regina Pats forward Adam Brooks has been named the WHL Player of the Week.

Brooks recorded 10 points (2g-8a) in four games to lead the Regina Pats to a record of 2-1-1 for the week.

The 19-year-old winger has collected 60 points in 40 games this season to sit second overall in the WHL.
