Grinches strike again as life-size Christmas decorations stolen from Ont. home

Two nutcrackers, each 1.5 metres tall, and a wreath were stolen from this home in Thames Centre, police said.

Ontario Provincial Police

THAMES CENTRE, Ont. – Christmas is past, but Grinches are apparently still operating.

Middlesex County O.P.P. are investigating after some elaborate Christmas decorations disappeared from a rural home in Thames Centre, about 120 km west of Hamilton.

This was no simple snatch job like a recent wreath theft in Toronto; according to police, the stolen items included two homemade nutcracker figures each 1.5 metres tall.
