Winnipeg Police locate suspect

WINNIPEG — Winnipeg Police found a suspect they were looking just over an hour after enlisting the public’s help.

Andrew Spence, 30, has “a lengthy criminal history and cautions for being violent/assaultive and armed/dangerous,” read a news release sent out by Winnipeg Police.

Spence was wanted for auto theft, break and enter and because police were concerned for his well-being.

Just over an hour after police sent out the news release, Spence was found before 9 p.m.

Police wouldn’t confirm if he had been arrested or placed in custody, saying only that he has been located.
