Flights resume at Pearson airport after fog delays: GTAA

TORONTO – The Greater Toronto Airport Authority confirms flights have resumed at Toronto’s Pearson airport Wednesday morning following runway delays due to fog.

Travellers are still being reminded to check their flight status prior to arriving at the airport.

A number of flights arriving at Pearson after 8 a.m. were delayed this morning but have mostly cleared.

The Greater Toronto Area is currently under a fog advisory with some areas are experiencing “near zero visibility” as dense fog moves through the region.

The fog is expected to dissipate later this morning.
