Blades beat the Kelowna Rockets in Saskatoon

SASKATOON–The Kelowna Rockets closed out their six game road trip through the prairies with a 5-3 loss in Saskatoon.

Tyson Baillie scored a pair of goals to give Kelowna an early 2-0 lead, but the Blades scored four times in the second period to earn the win.

The Rockets are still sitting atop the WHL with a 25-9-1-0 record.

Kelowna returns to action after Christmas with a home and home series with the Kamloops Blazers.

The Rockets play Dec. 27 in Kamloops and Dec. 28 in Kelowna.
