Man caught on camera stealing items from porch, returns what he doesn’t want

Police in Texas are looking for a suspect after video showed a man stealing items from a porch — and returning items he didn’t want.

The incident occurred recently on Arbuckle Street in West University Place, Texas, according to KPRC.

West University police officer Phil Clark told NBC that a man dressed in full cycling gear stopped in front of the home after noticing a package on the porch.

A surveillance camera captured the man look around to ensure he was alone before making off with several items. But it didn’t end there.

“At this point, he opens the packages and removes items and I guess didn’t want some of the items and replaced some of the packages back on the porch,” Clark said. “[He] kept some things and got back on his bike and rode off.”

Anyone with information are asked to contact West University police while they continue to investigate.
