REGINA – The court case for a former Saskatchewan Roughrider charged with assault has been adjourned until the new year.
Former Rider receiver Taj Smith appeared in the Court of Queen’s Bench Monday morning in Regina.

He’s facing a charge of aggravated assault after a bar fight outside of Bushwakker Brewpub in August 2013.
He’ll be back in court January 18th.
