WATCH: Winnipeg Thrashers thrash the Cougars in Midget AAA

WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Thrashers won their third straight game in the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League. The Thrashers waltzed over the Southwest Cougars 7-1 on Sunday at the Gateway Arena. The fourth place Thrashers improved their record to 16-6-1 on the season.

Dylan Burton and Nate Hooper each scored two goals for Winnipeg. Hooper chipped in with two assists as well. The Thrashers also received goals from Dane Derewianchuk, Kyle Wiltshire and Eric Lavoie.

John Patmore scored the lone goal for the Cougars.
