TORONTO – Police have arrested a Calgary man who allegedly assaulted a woman at a grocery store in downtown Toronto last month.

Police received a call about a sexual assault at a Longo’s grocery store at 100 King St. W at 12:20 p.m. ET on Nov. 10. A man allegedly assaulted a woman who was waiting in line at the store’s deli counter.

Daniel Christian Fernandez, 47, of Calgary was charged with one count of sexual assault.
At the time, police were searching for other victims. Anyone with information was asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
