One person is in hospital after a serious crash in West Vancouver.
It happened early this afternoon on Highway 1, near the 21st Street Exit. It appears a sedan was travelling westbound and hit a light pole and flipped.

BC Ambulance Service confirms one occupant of the car was taken to hospital in serious condition.
There is no word as to what may have caused the crash.
The road was closed for hours but has since been reopened.
