Fire destroys Whitby home

WHITBY, Ont. – One home is in ruins and two others damaged after a fire late Saturday night.

The fire started on Merchants Avenue, near Taunton Road and Brock Street, around 11 p.m.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
