CALGARY – Police are searching for a suspect following an attempted child abduction in Calgary on Monday.
It happened in the 6600 block of Martindale Gate N.E. at around 3 p.m.
Investigators said the offender tried to grab a child, at which point a struggle ensued. The suspect then fled on foot and the child ran home to family members.
The offender is described as approximately 20-years-old and between 5’8″ and 5’10” tall with a slim build. He was wearing blue jeans, a yellow shirt and a green hoodie that was unzipped.
Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to call police or contact Crime Stoppers.
