Moose Jaw man, woman killed in crash near Springside, Sask.

Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash near Springside, Sask. on Tuesday. The crash between a northbound SUV and an eastbound semi-tractor trailer unit happened around 1:30 p.m. CT at the juncture of highways 16 and 47.

The driver of the SUV, a 73-year-old man, and his passenger, a 73-year-old woman, both from Moose Jaw, were declared dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.

The semi driver was not injured.
