Three men were injured on the weekend in a hit and run on a Saskatchewan First Nation. The three, visitors from Europe, were struck Saturday morning on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
Mounties say the three were camping along what is locally known as “The Bison Trail/Shell River Road” when they were hit by a vehicle around 3:30 a.m. CT.
The driver then fled the scene.
A 20-year-old man from France and a 24-year-old man from Germany were taken to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon with what are described as serious injuries. There is no word on their current condition.
The third man, a 21-year-old man from France, was treated at Prince Albert’s Victoria Hospital and released.

Mounties continue to investigate.
Sturgeon Lake First Nation is approximately 145 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
