Disturbance ends in numerous charges for Saskatoon man

SASKATOON – A Saskatoon man is facing a number of weapons charges after a disturbance last week. The 30-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly tried to kick in a door at a residence in the 100-block of Imperial Avenue Friday afternoon.

Police say when they located him, he had a firearm and ammunition. They also found he had a number of outstanding warrants.

He is facing 12 charges including careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm contrary to an order.

He was scheduled to appear Monday in Saskatoon provincial court.
