Ecomuseum holds annual ‘free admission for kids day’

STE-ANNE-DE-BELLEVUE – It may have been a rain-drenched day but that didn’t stop kids from enjoying a day at the Ecomuseum Zoo.

The zoo held its annual free admission for kids day, giving parents a financial break in the middle of back-to-school season.

The Ecomuseum is the only outdoor zoo on the island of Montreal and is home to over 115 animal species exclusively from Quebec.

The animals living at the zoo were either injured or orphaned in the wild, or born in captivity and can not be released back into the wild.

Kids under 15 who came with an adult could visit for free for the whole day and take part in special presentations with some furry, and some not so furry critters.
