REGINA – More than 100 people lined Victoria Avenue in downtown Regina to bring awareness to Syrian refugees.

Last night’s rallies were held across Canada, demanding Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Minister Chris Alexander take action to reform Canada’s immigration protocol.

Protesters believe the Canadian government could do more to help refugees throughout the world.

Harper announced in January the government would resettle 10-thousand Syrian refugees over the next three years.
