The homicide unit investigated and have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Guimond.

“There’s no indication he has left the city,” Const. Eric Hofley said Tuesday, explaining the Canada-wide warrant is a result of the seriousness of the allegations, not an indication Guimond has left Winnipeg.

Guimond is well-known to police, Hofley said.
