CALGARY – Police are investigating reports of shots fired at a Montgomery motel on Tuesday.
Officers were called to the Red Carpet Inn & Suites in the 4000 block of 16 Avenue N.W. just before 2:30 a.m.
Police took two men from the scene into custody. Night manager Ronak Kothari says one of the men had been staying at the motel for a few months.
Officers will only say the men are considered persons of interest.
No one was injured in the incident.
Investigators are focusing their efforts on examining two rooms on the Red Carpet Inn’s top floor.
