Watch: Rock Creek fire still uncontained

137 homes remain under evacuation order while another 196 are on evacuation alert.

The B.C. Wildfire Service says conditions are hot, dry, windy and there is potential for significant fire activity today. The last estimate of the fire’s size pegged it at 3,750 hectares. The blaze is not contained. The B.C. Wildfire Service says that doesn’t mean crews are not making progress. A spokesperson says they are working on establishing guard-lines.
