New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia reportedly had to be held back when a brawl broke out as he left a Toronto nightclub Saturday morning.
TMZ published what it claimed was video of Sabathia outside of the EFS Nightclub near the corner of King Street and Bathurst Street in downtown Toronto.
The website claims the video shows Sabathia, sporting bright red sneakers, being held back from the fray and eventually pushed inside an awaiting cab. The celebrity gossip website says “Sabathia definitely looks like he wants to jump into the fray.”

Witnesses reportedly told TMZ that people were yelling “Go Blue Jays” just hours after the Yankees beat the Jays in Game 1 of a three-game series.
Toronto Police say they responded to the area around 3 a.m. Saturday after reports of a fight. Everyone involved had dispersed by the time they arrived.
TMZ reports that it’s unclear exactly what sparked the brawl.
The vertical video published by the gossip website follows the fight after Sabathia is pushed inside the cab as it spills out across streetcar tracks in the middle of the road.
