Man arrested for allegedly throwing rocks at U.S. Consulate in Toronto

Toronto police have a man in custody after rocks were allegedly thrown at the U.S. Consulate in Toronto Wednesday morning.

Officers in the area noticed the man vandalizing windows of the building located at 360 University Avenue between Dundas and Queen Street.

There are reports a number of windows were damaged.

U.S. Consulate security officers told Global News the suspect was a male who hurled rocks at the building.

Toronto police will only say a man has been taken into custody.

There is no confirmation on the extent of the damage.
