CALGARY – RCMP have laid charges against a 29-year-old woman accused of killing a young boy last year.
The two-year-old was admitted to a Calgary hospital on September 18, 2014 after being injured while in the woman’s care, but passed away a week later.

Investigators arrested the accused on July 31 after reviewing the results of an autopsy.
The woman, who is a resident of Tsuu T’ina Nation, has been charged with second-degree murder.
RCMP are not releasing her name at this time.
