Four arrested after shooting in Mississauga overnight

TORONTO – Police say four men were arrested following a shooting in Mississauga Sunday night.

Police say they responded to shots fired around 9:20 p.m. at a high-rise apartment building on Duke of York Blvd.

Officers arrived to find a handgun, ammunition and a quantity of drugs at one of the units.

Following a search, four men were arrested. However, no injuries were reported.

The accused have been identified as Ilyas Abdulle, 21, of Mississauga, Ibrahim Abdikarim, 21 of Toronto, Nagib Abdirahman, 19 of Alberta, and Abdirahman Dore, 25 of Brampton.

They are facing charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm, mischief endangering life and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

All are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
