Olivia and Liam remain top baby names in Alberta for second year

CALGARY – Olivia and Liam were the most popular baby names in Alberta in 2014, according to Service Alberta.

The province released their annual list on Thursday morning, saying 55,587 babies were born in Alberta in 2014 – 27,147 girls and 28,440 boys.

Liam held on as the top boy baby name for the third year in a row, while Olivia was the top girl baby name for the second year in a row.
