The actor’s wife Patricia and 2-year-old daughter Miranda were not in the family’s Encino home at the time of the break-in.

According to TMZ, someone made off with a number of valuable items, including a diamond ring and a Cartier watch. Also reportedly stolen were several baseball cards, including a mint condition 1951 Bowman Willie Mays rookie card worth an estimated $175,000.

A former Saturday Night Live cast member, Schneider is also known for movies Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and The Hot Chick.
