WATCH ABOVE: Police have arrested a man after in connection with an early morning stabbing in Montreal. The 30-year-old is being detained for questioning.
MONTREAL – A 30-year-old man was arrested following an early morning stabbing in Montreal on Saturday.
Police received a 911 call at around 4:45 a.m. from a man saying he had been stabbed.

Officers responding to the call located the victim at the corner of Berri and Ste-Catherine streets.
The 23-year-old man was stabbed in the upper body and transported to hospital.
While police do not fear for his life, they say he was too distressed to provide investigators with any information regarding the incident.
Officers combing the area for clues eventually discovered the crime scene two blocks away, in a rooming house on St-Christophe Street between Ste-Catherine Street and René-Lévesque Boulevard.
A man was arrested on the premises and is being detained for questioning.
