MONTREAL – Police are investigating after a stabbing in Montreal North on Saint-Julien avenue around 1:25 a.m.
“It was an altercation between a man and a woman that took place in an apartment,” said Jean-Pierre Brabant with the Montreal police.

The man, 29, was stabbed in the upper body and transported to hospital.

His life is not in danger.
“The woman, aged 38, was transported to the detention centre where she is being met by investigators,” said Brabant.
