TORONTO — A Canadian dance crew has made it to the next round of America’s Got Talent.

On the “judge cuts” episode that aired Tuesday night, DM Nation of Lévis, Que. was one of seven acts chosen to advance to the live shows.

The all-female hip hop ensemble has known for several weeks that they succeeded in moving forward but had to keep the results secret until the show aired.

“C’est magnifique!,” exclaimed guest judge Michael Bublé after DM Nation performed.

“I’m a very proud Canadian and I’m really proud that you’re from the country I’m from and I loved your synchronicity. You really were together. It was tight.”

Fellow Canadian Howie Mandel, a regular judge on AGT, gushed: “It was so strong. It was so amazing. That was girl power!”

Judge Melanie Brown, formerly of Spice Girls, told the dancers: “You know that saying ‘dance hard or go home?’ You ladies dance so hard. For sure you’re not going home. You’re brilliant.”
