Toronto R&B singer Melanie Fiona wins two Grammys

Toronto R&B crooner Melanie Fiona has scored two Grammy Awards.

The 28 year-old won for her collaboration with Cee Lo Green for the song “Fool for You” in the categories for best traditional R&B performance and best R&B song.

Referred to as “our girl” by Cheryl Hickey on ET Canada’s red carpet, Melanie revealed that her new album “The MF Life” will be released this March 2012.

 

Melanie had been nominated in previous years for “The Bridge” released  in 2009.
