UNITY, Sask. – Beware of golf clubs that might be for sale at below fair-market prices. Thieves made off with some high-end clubs from the Unity, Sask. golf course sometime between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the suspects broke into two large storage sheds that contained multiple individual car and club storage units. The thieves then went through the individual units, stealing brand name golf equipment, either complete sets or newer, individual clubs.
Several complete sets of Taylor Made clubs were taken, along with Callaway, Ping and Nike clubs. The total value of the clubs has not been determined, but one set was valued at $4,000.

Police believe the thieves are looking to sell the clubs due to the number stolen. Mounties are asking the public to report any clubs that may be advertised for sale at lower than fair-market value.
