MONTREAL – Three people are recovering in hospital after falling 30 feet from the Camilien-Houde Belvedere lookout on Mount Royal.
The man, who was drunk, stumbled down the lookout just after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Two women, also heavily under the influence of alcohol, tried to save him but ended up tumbling down the mountain too.

It took firefighters about an hour to rescue them.
The three, all in their twenties, suffered minor injuries.
