A 53-year old man employed at a Toronto school is charged with sexual assault offences in connection with a 13-year-old boy.
Police have charged Martin Bartholomew, a special needs assistant at Greenholme Junior Middle School in Jamestown Crescent in Toronto, with two counts of assault, one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference.

Police say the boy was sexually assaulted between May 10 and June 5 of this year. The victim was in contact with the accused since December 2014.
Bartholomew worked at the school for 15 years as a special needs assistant.

Greenholme sent a letter to parents advising them of the situation on Wednesday.
Police say there may be other victims waiting to come forward.
Bartholomew appeared in court on Tuesday and he’s scheduled to return on July 24.
