MONTREAL – The Jutra Award nominations were unveiled Tuesday, January 31, at a press conference in the historic theatre Monument-National on Saint Laurent Boulevard.
The film awards celebrate achievements in Quebec’s feature film industry.
The awards ceremony takes place Sunday, March 11 at the Théâtre Saint-Denis in Montreal and will be hosted by Sylvie Moreau and Yves Pelletier.
Monsieur Lazhar, recently nominated for an Oscar, received nine Jutra nominations, including best film, best director, best actor and best sound.
Couteau Rouge, garnered eight nominations and Café de Flore, starring Vanessa Paradis, received seven.
