WATCH: The for sale sign is up at the Bar-N Ghost Pine Ranch near Granum. If you have a cool $54-million USD the working ranch with five houses could be yours. Matt Battachio reports.
GRANUM- The Bar-N Ghost Pine Ranch estate sits on nearly 15,000 thousand acres on land, features six residential homes and 800 head of cattle. Situated in rolling grasslands outside of Granum, the whole package is on the market for a whopping $54 million CAN ($42.5 million US)
That price tag makes the ranch the highest residential land listing in Alberta history. But, when comparing with another recent land sale in the area, those facilitating this sale believe it’s worth it.
Located about an hour’s drive north west of Lethbridge, the expansive property has surprisingly remained untouched throughout the years.

“There’s not a windmill, there’s not a gas line, or a power line, there’s no transmission lines, there’s no oil lines,” said another co-lister with McNab Realty Ltd., David McNab.
The current owner purchased the property in 1992, but is now ready to retire and take care of health issues. Although no offers have been made, the recently-listed property is garnering some early curiosity.
“We’re just getting started in it and the interest is coming. There’s a lot of people calling. We’ve got some high-end people that are thinking about it for sure.”
Although the property is in Canada, any offers made must be in U.S dollars.
