Composite sketch released of suspect in southside assault

LETHBRIDGE – Lethbridge Regional Police have released a composite sketch of a man wanted in connection to an alleged assault in the 300 block of 28 Street South.

Officers say a woman was taking her garbage out on April 21, at around 8:30 a.m., when she was grabbed from behind.

When she started screaming, the suspect fled southbound on foot.

On Monday, police released a composite sketch of the subject, who is described as about six feet tall, in his late 30s, with a moustache and pockmarks on his face.

He was wearing light blue jeans, a denim jacket and a yellow ball cap, with his hair in a ponytail.

Anyone who can help identify this man is asked to call police at 403-328-4444. Anonymous tips can be submitted online through Crime Stoppers.
