Saskatoon’s newest patio opens at Delta Bessborough

Watch above: Patio lovers have a new option in Saskatoon; the Metric Garden Lounge opens today at the Bess. 

SASKATOON – The Delta Bessborough is now home to Saskatoon’s newest patio, the Metric Garden Lounge. Located behind the hotel, the lounge features a brand new menu and décor designed by Saskatoon’s very own Metric Design Centre.

This is the first time a patio restaurant of this scale has been tried at the historic hotel.

“The people of Saskatoon love their patio experiences, our new garden lounge will elevate those experiences to a new level with the creative design provided by Metric and for the first time a setting on green space along our beloved Meewasin Valley,” said the Delta Bessborough’s General Manager Martin Gilbert.

The menu has been designed by local award winning chef Christopher Hill, who added a creative touch while focusing on fresh and local ingredients.

“It’s really important to support local purveyors,” Hill said. “So we try and do it whenever possible.”

The patio opens from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. every day, weather and special events permitting.
