WATCH ABOVE: Police are investigating a rash of robberies targeting TTC fare collectors — here have been three in as many days and four this month. Catherine McDonald has the story.
TORONTO – Police are on the hunt for two suspects following a robbery at Donlands Station overnight.
Police responded to the call around 1 a.m. near Danforth and Donlands in east-end Toronto.

Police say one of the suspects was carrying a gun. There’s no word yet on the amount of money stolen.
Both suspect were seen fleeing the scene. No descriptions have been released.
Police are also investigating two other armed robberies at subway stations in the city.
A robbery occurred at Chester Station around midnight last Friday, when a man armed with a gun demanded money from a TTC ticket collector.

About an hour later, a suspect with a similar description held up the Rosedale Station.
No shots were fired and no one was injured in either incident.
There’s no word yet if the robberies are related.
The head of the transit union told Global News they’re working with the TTC to increase the number of staff working at night, in light of recent events.
