“Fentanyl itself has become a province-wide problem, and this seizure further demonstrates ALERT’s commitment to targeting these individuals and these organized crime groups that deal with these deadly pills,” said Sgt. Keith Hurly.

Thirty-three-year-old Timothy Sawatzky of Calgary has been charged with drug trafficking, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and four counts of breach of recognizance.
