Calgary police have arrested a 30-year-old man after a southwest drug bust uncovered $400,000 in cocaine.
Authorities executed two search warrants, the first for a home in the on the 1700 block of 26th Avenue SW, while the second was carried out on the 100 block of Village Heights SW, Calgary.
Officials found nearly eight kilograms of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and $81,000 in cash.
Alvin Lin is charged with several offences, including production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking,
The drugs were allegedly headed for street-level drug traffickers in British Columbia.
